Runescape is one of the best online RPG game on the internet. The first time I played Runescape was in 2004, back then the game was pretty basic — and now it morphed into a pretty amazing game, with eye candy graphics and a lot of quests for players to conquest.

Runescape’s graphics is made out of javascript — so there is no need for you to download anything off their website. All you need to do is an Internet browser to start playing the game — and it’s free.

You select a customize character, and then you start to explore the world of Runescape. You can do whatever you want, from hunting down unicorns for meat to fishing to going downtown to buy some armours for your character. What I recommend you to do at first is hunt down cows, cook the meat, so you can level up.

There is also a place called the “wilderess”, where you can battle other players. Becareful when you go there, because if you die, you lose all your stuff. But the exciting part is beating other players and getting their armours and weapons. It should be an easy kill if you have friends who you can team up with.

THe only drawback to this game is the repetitiveness. You often have to grind your character out — meaning, you can spend hours and hours cutting down trees in order to improve your wood cutting skills. Or kill cows for hours to level up your character. Probably the most boring skill set is mining rocks in order to smith it into weapons.
